Current development/strategies
- To increase young people’s skills and self-confidence.
- To increase their understanding of how an organisation works.
- To encourage them to participate in planning the year’s events (Venturer weekend, summer camp, Welsh Annual Gathering).
In what ways are young people involved?
Group level – deciding on programme/priorities, learning about the organisation.
All-Wales level – talking part in joint planning meetings.
What have been the outcomes of involving young people?
- More informed decision-making (eg. on format of summer camp) which better reflects the needs and wishes of the young people.
