The Participation Works Network for England (PWNE) exists to provide opportunities for adults for whom participation is part of their daily work, to network, share new ideas and learn more about the participation landscape.
Membership of the network allows you to access information on the latest news, events, resources and exciting opportunities for you as well as children and young people and is free to join. The PWNE is open to all people who support or facilitate the involvement of children or young people in decision-making or democracy as a significant or specific part of their job. One of the most useful things about the PWNE is the on-line membership database which you can access to enable you to network with other members.
The PWNE on-line database and web pages have now moved to be part of Participation Works, an exciting new programme of work supported by the Big Lottery, which will support organisations wishing to develop children and young people’s participation. The Carnegie Young People Initiative was instrumental in setting up this programme and in securing the funding from Big Lottery.
